Astrology disclaimer. astRaj computes a Vedic astrology chart using standard astronomical methods. The chart and any accompanying readings are provided for cultural, informational and personal-interest purposes only. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or professional advice, and they are not predictions of the future. Astrology is a traditional belief system, not a science. astRaj does not prescribe remedies, and you should not make important life, health, or financial decisions based on it. Any decision you make is your own responsibility.

The service

astRaj is offered free of charge during this beta, on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We compute charts from the JPL planetary ephemeris with the Lahiri ayanamsha and validate our calculations against professional software, but we make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

Acceptable use

Enter only your own birth details, or details you are authorised to use.
If you request an emailed report, enter only your own email address. Do not send reports to other people's addresses without their consent — doing so is unsolicited email and is not permitted.
Don't attempt to overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
We may rate-limit or block usage that appears abusive.

Intellectual property

The astRaj software and website are the property of their author. A report you generate is yours to use for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Names and marks referenced remain the property of their owners.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, astRaj and its author are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or any chart or reading it produces.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; the date above will change. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
