astRaj computes a Vedic (Jyotish) birth chart from the details you enter. This policy explains, plainly, what we do and don't do with your information. In short: we don't store your birth details or your chart, we don't track you, and we don't sell anything to anyone.

What we collect

• The details you type to generate a chart: a name/label, and your birth date, time and place.
• Your email address — only if you choose to have the PDF report emailed to you. This is optional; the on-screen download works without it.
• Basic technical data your browser sends with any web request (e.g. your IP address), used only to keep the service running and to rate-limit abuse. We do not build profiles from it.

How we use it, and how long we keep it

• Your birth details are used once, to compute your chart, and are not stored afterwards.
• A generated PDF is held in a temporary working area for a short time (up to about 30 minutes) so you can download it, then it is automatically deleted.
• If you provide an email, it is used once to send you the report and is not retained and never used for marketing.
• We use no cookies, no advertising, and no third-party tracking or analytics.

Who else touches your data (sub-processors)

• Hosting — the site runs on cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services). Requests are processed there in transit.
• Email delivery — if you request an emailed PDF, your address and the report are passed to Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) solely to deliver that one message.
• Place lookup — a place name you enter may be sent to a geocoding service to resolve coordinates.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Because we don't store your chart or birth details, there is no database of personal charts to breach.

Your rights

You may ask what personal data we hold and request its correction or deletion. Since we don't retain your birth details, chart, or email after delivery, there is typically nothing stored to act on. For any request, contact us (below).

Children

astRaj is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
